MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN

Helsingborgs have now gone five league games without a win. The newcomers have lost three and drawn two, with their most recent league match ending in a 1-0 loss away to Kalmar. Without veteran midfielder Alexander Farnerud they lack creativity on the centre of the field. To make things worse their most important player, captain Andreas Granqvist, is also injured. Without him the defence is not of top flight quality. Even if recent performances have been poor they are undefeated at home (two wins, two draws), but the latest two home league games have been draws.

AIK Solna won 2-0 away in the derby against Djurgardens last weekend and they have 14 points so far this season - a number they are not satisfied with. They have already lost more league games than they did last season. If they are to defend their title they need to start picking up points soon, especially in league games against weak opponents like this.

The visitors have been poor away from home so far this season (one win,one draw, two losses). They have lacked speed and agility but with all key players being fit and available there are no excuses for manager Rikard Norling not to get three points.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW

AIK Solna have scored the joint fewest amount of goals in the league. Having conceded seven, they also have a solid defence and will not let Helsingborgs score easily in this league game. The home team are one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league with nine goals after eight league games and with key attacking midfielder Alexander Farnerud being out with an injury they will be even less dangerous in attack. A low-scoring league match awaits.

HEAD TO HEAD

The teams have not played each other in league action since 2016. The last seven league meetings have been won by the respective home side (four wins for AIK Solna, three for Helsingborgs).
