MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

----

Banfield saw their nine-game unbeaten run of four wins and five draws in the Superliga coming to an end last Sunday, when they lost 1-0 at league leaders River Plate in a hard-fought game. As a result, El Taladro remain on 25 points, which is enough to stay safe from relegation threats so far. Banfield are on five league matches unbeaten at their own stadium (winning one and drawing four).

Aldosivi climbed out of the relegation zone thanks to a 2-0 away win at Huracan last Saturday. The team have certainly improved under boss Angel Hoyos, suffering a single defeat in their last six matches (three victories and two draws) to make it 19 points in the Superliga table. On away turf, El Tiburon managed seven points from the last nine on offer in the league.

Banfield should make home advantage count in a clash between two improved squads. Home win.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - HIGH

---

Banfield averaged 1.8 goals in their last five league games at home while Aldosivi netted five goals in their last three away matches in the Superliga (averaging 1.67). This should be a high-scoring match.

HEAD TO HEAD

Banfield are unbeaten against Aldosivi in the league, with six victories and three draws.
